The MYKITA MYLON collection is born from the vision of designing spectacles that redefine the border between the worlds of fashion and sports. The MYKITA frames are created using 3D printing technology, or selective laser sintering, to give it it’s technical name, a CO2 laser is used to fuse the finest polyamide powder, layer by layer, building into digitally designed, three-dimensional frames, that can be adjusted to the individual wearer. This complex and patented process means that the MYKITA team can create glasses frames from new, lightweight materials, blending function and form.
